About the creators

We're Nick and River, two peas in a pod who hate being apart. Ever since River was born, I couldn't stand the thought of a day without him. However, life threw us a curveball when his mum and I decided to separate, and suddenly, we had to get used to not seeing each other every day. It wasn't easy, and it felt like something was missing.

One day, I asked how River felt during our time apart. He admitted, "Scared," and shared that he feared that he may never see me again. This hit hard, so we came up with a creative and soppy solution—a little bear as our secret handshake. This bear meant, "I'll be right back," a small but powerful reminder that helps us both sleep better at night.
